The 2005 Honda motorcycle range has just been unveiled. Here is your chance to preview of the machines that are sure to be on motorcycle wish lists in the coming year. Already 'top of the class' when it comes to Supersport racing, the CBR600RR has been re-worked, the new FMX650 points towards a fun urban-moto scene, we celebrate 30 years of the Goldwing and improve the safety of the CB1300. To find out more explore the links opposite.

For 2005, the CB1300 is being made available in a new ABS-equipped version that complements its high-performance triple-disc brakes. Further refinements include smoothing out any perceived rough edges in its engine response and power delivery, particularly at low speeds, and extending its comfort range.

It has only been a year since the CBR600RR burst onto the supersport scene. So what is in store for 2005? Try even greater horsepower, all-new inverted front forks, lighter weight, Fireblade-style swingarm and front brakes, and new bodywork.

Take the CRF450R, the most popular dirt bike in Honda's line up. Now add electric start, and meet the new CRF450X. Tuned for trial duty with greater torque, wider gear ratios and more supple suspension, the CRF450X is everything the CRF450R is, with the all important little-bit-more.

The new FMX650 features an air-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder, 650cc engine delivering punchy performance. With super motard styling as its design concept, the FMX650 is equally at home in the city or out of town.

30 years is a long time... except when its shared aboard the Gold Wing. In 2005 we celebrate its 30th year as the world's first-class ticket to relaxed and luxurious motorcycle touring. Nothing else matches its blend of comfort, character and performance.

Bold bare bones design, ultra fat tyres and bug eyed headlights... We are currently gauging reaction to the new Zoomer to judge if there is a market in the UK for this unique scooter. We will keep you posted if it will make the official 2005 line-up.
