Six year domestic warranty on its entire range of 4-stroke marine outboards

12/02/2009 - HONDA BECOMES FIRST UK MANUFACTURER TO OFFER SIX YEAR DOMESTIC WARRANTY ON OUTBOARD RANGE

Honda (UK) has become the first major manufacturer to offer a six year domestic warranty on its entire range of 4-stroke marine outboards, once more underlining its market leadership and confidence in its product with the longest and most comprehensive warranty on the market.

 

With immediate effect the new extended term applies to Honda's entire outboard line-up; comprising some twenty models ranging from the smaller BF2.3 through to the mighty BF225.

 

The move extends Honda's tradition of industry leading after-sales support and commitment to customer satisfaction. In January 1996 it led the market as the first UK manufacturer to offer a five year domestic warranty on marine outboards. During 2008 it became the first UK manufacturer to offer an unrivalled seven year domestic warranty on its core lawn mower range; and just last week it was voted top car company for satisfaction in an independent survey of some 24,000 UK customers.
