For the first time in two years, Honda has made changes to its price list for scooters and motorcycles.
The best-selling CBR600F middleweight sportsbike has had a £400 price cut to make it excellent value at £6299.
A number of other machines have had small price increases most of which are well under that of the current inflation rate of 2.1 per cent*. Honda’s flagship GL1800 Gold Wing has had an increase of £400 to £17,399 but this includes the introduction of the luxury pack as standard, which includes heated grips, heated seats and a ventilation/heater system for the rider’s feet.
The heavily updated and much-improved CBR1000RR Fireblade is only £100 more expensive for 2006, at £8899. Prices on other new models for 2006 have also been announced. The all-new CBF1000 is priced at £5999, with the ABS-equipped version being priced at £6299. The heavily updated NT700 Deauville comes in at £6199, with the ABS model at £6499, while the PES125 is just £2199.
