Doble Motorcycles celebrates its 40th Birthday this year!

Dobles is a long-established family-run business founded in 1967 by Mike Doble senior and his late brother Chris Doble.

It all started with just one shop at number 88 Brighton Road in Coulsdon, selling one or two step through mopeds and undertaking motorcycle servicing. Chris managed the business and kept it going while Mike set up a used car showroom across the road at 103 Brighton Road.

As the motorcycle boom hit in the 1970s, expansion was inevitable and the adjacent shop at number 90 was acquired and was soon filled with the latest Honda models. Soon another increase in size happened to match the still-booming market with the purchase of number 86 Brighton Road!

Mike Doble Junior and Paul Styles now run the dealership along with Mike Doble Senior, Anne Doble, and a good enthusiastic and dedicated team who all love working with motorcycles.

Dobles have been nominated Honda dealer of the year four times, which is a testament to their commitment to high standards of sales, servicing and back-up to their loyal customer base.
